Update on My Goal to Try for Always Eat After 7 PM

In my first post reviewing the Always Eat After 7 PM program, I set 2 goals: to see if I lost weight (didn’t have a specific number in mind) and to see if it improved my energy as I’m constantly tired chasing my 4-year-old around. So far I have lost 4 lbs and I am feeling more energy! There are so many good recipes in this book that it doesn’t even feel like a diet. I don’t even have to give up carbs. As a person who doesn’t eat a lot of meat, that has always been a rough spot for me in diets. Most of them cut off all carbs! The book even states:

“Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”

My favorite recipe so far that I’ve tried from the book is the No Bake Salted Caramel bars! They are so easy to make and delicious!
