Dieting Rules are Made to Be Broken – Always Eat After 7 PM Diet Book Review

If you’re anything like me as a mom, you don’t get much chance to eat during the day due to chasing your kids around. I had what I thought of as a bad habit of only eating one meal late at night, right before I went to bed. When I discovered there is actually a diet and science behind this lifestyle, I decided to look more into it. My goal is to see if I lose ANY weight AND gain energy following this diet. The most common myth about eating at night is that it slows down your metabolism and makes you gain weight. Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way. This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.

Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.

The diet consists of 3 main phases: Acceleration, Main, and Lifestyle phase.

The acceleration phase is a 14-day phase that produces the most weight loss by utilizing a lot of nutrient-packed foods. It focuses on cutting fat and carbs, which speeds up your body’s energy-burning abilities. You should drop about 1 lb per day during this phase.

The main phase then begins at week 3 where you focus on your body fighting falling leptin levels by adding super carbs to your lunch and dinner. The science behind this shows that the leptin levels help to fight fat without destroying muscle.

The lifestyle phase is the phase you maintain after you reach your goal weight. This is where you are allowed to have treats here and there while still following a healthy lifestyle to utilize your body’s weight loss abilities by eating at night.
