Get a landscape designer in, even if it’s just to give you some ideas. This shouldn’t cost you too much in the scheme of things, and a good eye will be able to help you to understand where you are going wrong with your garden. A few shrubs here and there, a bit of thinning out, and a new area created can totally transform your outdoor space.

Low Maintenance Could Be Best

If you just know that you’re never going to be able to put the time in to make your garden what it should be, then maybe it’s best to admit defeat, and turn it into a low maintenance garden! Invest in some decking, pull up the lawn, and bed in some hardy slow growing plants and shrubs which rely on a minimal amount of upkeep. That way your garden will always look its best, even if it is not a plush green, you can still enjoy it if it is clear, clean and easy to manage!
