This and That

I am not doing anything in particular atm. I still have to get to the craft store to get more cotton to match that bag so I can finish it. I have a ton of bags, so I will probably save it for a gift. That is my first crochet with bead project, and I love it. I have been wracking my brain to think of other great ways to add them into any projects I do. Any insight on that would be great. I may have to look into getting a book or two. I’m also working a bit on a scarf I started knitting from the Stitch ‘N Bitch book. There are so many great patterns in there. I read the Happy Hooker, and I’ve been crocheting for over 8 months, and I learned some really interesting tips. That’s what I’m using to learn to knit, and it feels a bit confusing. I keep redoing the stitches, but some are loose and some are tight. It also gave a tip on ends, saying to work every last stitch, then on the second stitch of the next row, to work that one tight, but my ends were HORRIBLE! So I’m doing where I skip the last stitch of every row. I get really frustrated trying to learn new things, but I keep reminding myself I was like this when I learned to crochet as well. I do think knitting is harder, at least in the aspect of fixing stitches.
