Unfortunately, many Americans are faced with the problem of having no health, eye, dental or prescription coverage. Many of us who do have it, have very poor coverage. For example, my hubby pays $200 a month on his health coverage through his work and just spent way more on his medications. One of the medications is on the $4 list and he paid $15. This is just one example of many who I am sure can relate to this struggle.
Walgreens has come up with an affordable alternative, the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. You pay $35 per year for your entire immediate family (spouse, children under 22 AND pets). You pay just $20 if you choose an individual plan. To be honest, I have yet to come across a health insurance plan that includes anything for pets, until now. My little Chihuahua, Ralphie, will be pleased!
In addition, the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club offers discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions (way cool!) and diabetic supplies. You also accrue bonuses if you purchase the Walgreens brand products or utilize their photo finishing services.
