I wanted a new tablecloth for the small square table in my breakfast nook. I looked for a red checked one, but couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind. In a fabric store one afternoon, I found a fabric I liked, and decided to make one. I’m glad I did- I got what I wanted, and very inexpensively. The fabric was on clearance. I got enough for the tablecloth and four napkins, all for about $6.00 – See more at: http://yesterfood.blogspot.de/2014/06/sew-easy-tablecloth-and-napkins.html#sthash.wIIDR56x.dpuf

I love walking around Pottery Barn and places like that to get inspiration in my home decor. I refuse to pay the high prices.

I am always on the lookout for easy Chicken DinnerIdeas, how about you? Especially since it’s summer and hot outside, I jump at any chance to not have to turn on my oven. Which means we typically grill or eat fresh salads, and I’m not opposed to that!

I love breakfast or let me correct that, I love pasties, rolls or anything sweet for breakfast.

Coffee cake, crumbs cakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts, really any sort of sugary, fruit, dough like creation.

Did you know that recipes are the most popular and most pinned items on Pinterest?   I love finding new recipes to try and with the exception of one or two duds, all the recipes I’ve tried from Pinterest have been delicious!

Wow! We made it! We are in the final week of school.. are you ready? With the start of summer vacation, comes the end of another great school year. With the end of the school year comes the last opportunity to show our appreciation for the teachers!

Thursday night I was getting on PicMonkey: photo editing made of win so I could resize a picture so I could post it to instagram (you can find more information on that here), and what did I see out of the corner of my eye? A Starwars-esc graphic that said something about “fonts” and “all”.  Fonts?  All?  I like fonts.  I like “all”.  Don’t judge me, but my heart started beating faster.

Capturing Some Normal Mommy Feelings

No matter how you feel throughout the day, just remember there’s every other mama going through their own set of emotions and struggles and triumphs that day, too. You don’t have to feel alone.

Just like a piece of jewelry adds some sparkle
to my ordinary outfits,
