Summer Beaded Choker [Ravel-It!]

Difficulty: Easy
Materials: Small amount of WW cotton (2 oz. or less), G Hook, approximately 13 6mm beads, optional clasp (I used 9 mm)
Note: You can add or subtract from the beginning chain to make it longer or shorter.
prestring about 13 beads (may wanna do a few extra just to be sure). if you are using a clasp i added the small part at the end of the bead row.
Ch 67 (if you are using a clasp, i transferred the clasp to the last ch. there are instructions here if you don’t know how to do it without prestringing. http://fluffyknitterdeb.blogspot.com/2005/08/by-special-request-beading-made-easy.html )
Row 1: sc in second chain from hook and in the next 19 ch. (20 sc) *insert hook into next ch and pull up a loop. bring a bead up to the hook. yo and pull through. (this should secure the bead onto the hook and it actually pushes it a tad toward the front). sc in next ch.* repeat from * 12 more times (13 beaded sc and 13 sc). sc in last 20 ch (66 total).
weave in ends.

This works up so fast and is a good idea to sell for profit! Just please give me credit to the free pattern via a link. Please do not distribute the pattern as your own, but I have no problem with these being sold as long as there is proper pattern credit. We’re all struggling “artists”! 🙂

I used a toggle for joining the choker and wooden beads. My son said “That looks REALLY nice!” Trust me…from him…that is quite a compliment! Thanks for the great pattern!
