Social Shopping At Its Best

The ShopYourWay Personal Shopper program is another form of social networking at its best. Now one thing that is great about the social aspect, is every friend you refer will earn you 1% of their qualifying purchases and once you’ve earned at least $20, you will get a check. You can invite your friends on Facebook, Yahoo mail and Gmail. 

Here’s what you do:

1. Go to the Request an Invite to ShopYourWay page.
2. When you get to the page, just fill out your name and email address. You will be emailed an invitation to join. I use Gmail and mine came within seconds.
3. Click “start earning” in the email invite to come back to the page. Now at the bottom of the page where it previously said “request invite”, it should now say “accept invite”. Click to accept.
4. The next page gives you the quick list of benefits to joining. The gist is you get to socialize, it’s free, you earn 10 points for every $1 you spend at stores like KMart, Kenmore, Searts, Craftsman, etc. If you reach the VIP status, you earn even more exclusive offers. You can earn badges, create your own catalogs and meet other shoppers.
5. At the bottom of the page you have the option to choose either “I have an existing account to one of the following sites” or “I don’t have an existing account”. Choose your option and click the Continue button.
6. Fill in your email and password on the following pages. It is basically the same no matter which option you chose–you’re either entering your login info or choosing login info. Or you can connect with your Facebook account.
7. Read and Agree to the terms and the fact that you are not already a SHC associate. Click the Next button.
8. Fill out and submit a W9 form (which is a request for a Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification as you will be considered an indedpendent contractor) now or you can skip and do this later.
9. Choose a method of inviting your friends. Once you’re done, click the Next button.
