Preserving Flowers and Memories

My super duper sweet boyfriend surprises me with flowers all of the time. I don’t know much about preserving them, but I decided to hang some upside down to see what would come of it. At the very least they lasted much longer. I waited until they were looking a tad droopy and sickly in their vase (even after the plant food). My neighbors got a pretty view as well! After they dried out though, I wasn’t sure what to do with them at that point. They were shedding all over the place, so I ended up throwing the lovelies away. Maybe next time I am going to try to preserve them in a book. Any tips on preserving flowers? I would love to hear them!

Update: I have done a little research and have learned if you spray the flowers with hairspray or aerosol sealant, that will do the trick! This is the best method imo when deciding how to dry flowers.  Check out this infographic on how to preserve flowers!
