Plastic surgery options for people with busy lifestyle

Plastic surgeons performed numerous liposuction and other plastic surgery procedures during the recession. Some Americans have plastic surgery done to receive a mild makeover. This makeover might consist of nonsurgical filler injections, chemical peels or a tummy tuck.

Reasons people get plastic surgery vary. Janice Axelrod, an insurance broker, is reported in U.S. News and World Report as saying, “I would have done it recession or no recession.” She continued, “It was about my confidence and how I felt seeing clients.”

These women have busy schedules. Yet, a very competitive job market finds them seeking various ways to separate themselves from other busy professionals who are striving to land the same high paying jobs they are. For example, busy professionals seeking mild touchups have paid for nonsurgical procedures like a facelift filler, liposonix, Ultherapy, vein therapy or nasal contouring.

Nasal contouring uses a nasal filler to reshape a woman’s or a man’s nose. It could take less than an hour to perform the procedure and less than a week to fully recover from having the noninvasive work performed. In addition to reshaping the nose, bumps, a drooping tip and other nose blemishes can either be removed or smoothed out with nasal contouring.

However, it’s the speed at which the plastic surgery can be completed that attracts busy clientele. Vein injection therapy uses fillers like Asclera. Older clients, as well as younger women with hectic schedules and veins that show through their skin, have opted for this procedure. In addition to treating varicose veins, the therapy unblocks vein blood flow. This is a benefit that could last for years. After all, should the blood flow remain blocked, the veins would start to disintegrate.

Busy women who want to get rid of a minimal amount of body fat have gotten Liposonix. Surgeons like Dr. Karlinsky, plastic surgeon in NYC, note that unlike liposuction, a Liposonix is noninvasive. Love handles as well as fat in the back, abdomen and thigh areas can be removed with Liposonix. With this procedure, busy professionals could lose up to half a dress size or more. They also wouldn’t have as long a recovery as they’d have if they actually got a liposuction.

Areas where body contouring is possible with liposuction are the stomach, thighs, hips, arms and neck. Other body parts that are slimmed down using liposuction include the inner knees, cheeks, calves and ankles.  Not only do these and other forms of plastic surgery help busy people to look more confident to employers, clients and business partners, the surgery could help busy people to tap into their inner confidence.

Furthermore, plastic surgery that takes an hour or less to perform can have a lower price tag than more invasive and more permanent surgeries. It’s these surgeries that allow busy people to get back to work or back to their household schedules as soon as possible. As U.S. News and World Report states, “Other than cost-savings, a major reason women opt for more minor procedures is not wanting to take time out from a job or a job hunt.”

  1. There are a variety of new aesthetic procedures out there now that achieve similar results to plastic surgery. These procedures are minimally invasive, leave no scars and results in shorter recovery times. I think these advancements have caused some people to reconsider cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
