Step 1: String larger beads onto ribbon clamps using crimp beads and beading wire.

Step 2: Add slightly shorter length (than first row of beads) of chain on top of the first row.

Step 3: Add smaller beads on a slightly shorter length than the chain, so all 3 rows tier nicely. You can repeat this with varying sizes of beads for as many rows as you like. (Sorry I don’t have exact measurements of rows. I just eye judged them).

Step 4: Clamp ribbon into ribbon clamps. I add a drop of E-6000 for good measure to make sure the ribbon stays put. I then cut the ribbon ends at an angle and added fray check. You can alternatively use a lighter to seal the ends, just be careful not to get the flame too close or it will leave black burn marks (or worse!)

 PS – I party here.

  1. So pretty! I’m obsessed with multi-strand necklaces and bracelets right now. I love this!

  2. Pretty necklace – those bright colored beads would work so well as a pop of neon to go with a neutral outfit.
