Have you seen the Quaker Soft Baked Bar yet? I am on a diet, and I know you dieters out there can relate to the hunger pangs that come after eating a salad. I am trying to eat evenly spaced throughout the day, but meals are not enough. Sometimes you just need a snack, but it can be hard to find one that is actually wholesome food. The fact that it is packed with fiber and protien, make it a filling breakfast snack.

The bars come in 2 different flavors: Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread.

Nutrition Info:
140 Calories
5g of Fiber (which is what helps you feel full)
6g of Protein
Excellent source of 5 different B Vitamins

My personal favorite is Cinnamon Pecan, because I have such a soft spot for cinnamon, especially cinnamon rolls, yumm!

I am trying to force myself to start eating breakfast, since they say that jumpstart to your metabolism aids weight loss (and I guess my coffee just doesn’t count!), but I cannot stand cooking when I have zero appetite. This is a perfect alternative for those who do not like cooking or a grab n go plan. Not naming names, but I know quite a few people who are chronically late, and I constantly see them running by saying something jumbled that sounds like “I’m Running Late Gotta Be At Work In 5 Min, Bye!” If you are one of these people, this is a perfect way to fit breakfast in.
