So I have never made fudge before and I decided I wanted to make it because 1.) I love it and 2.) I want to make it for a friend’s potluck, with Christmas cookie cutter shapes and decorated all nice and cute!~ Well I found this recipe and it seemed too good to be true… well it was lol. It wanted you to microwave the ingredients (no candy thermometer, etc) and it seemed really runny. I set it in molds anyway, and even gave some to the mother-in-law to take home (big mistake as now she probably pities her son for having a wife with such horrible cooking skills LOL), and the next day it was still like… pudding… with random chocolate chunks in it. So attempt 1 was a FAIL and on to take 2… today probably. I also bought a cake holder so I can decorate em’ all pretty and stuff. I am gonna attempt my first double-layered cake for the hubby. It’s nothing fancy, but I am working on my baking skills.
I really need to find a less fattening hobby of the month though LOL!!!
