If you are out, and you get sick or become unconscious, you may not be able to tell the person helping you who they should contact. If you have an emergency contact on your phone, they will be able to see who they should call. Also, if you get into danger, you need to have your parents or partners number on speed dial so you can contact them to help you straight away.
Lawyers
If you get into trouble with the law or something happens in your life in which you need legal advice, you need to have your lawyers number on your phone. Then you can contact them in an emergency so they can speak to you or even come down to the station
Child’s school
If an emergency happens with a family member, you may need to get your child out of school. Therefore, you can contact them straight away to inform them you’re coming to get your kid. Also, if something happens at your kid’s school, you can communicate with the school quickly to check your child is safe.
