Supples:

• Poise Pad new in wrapper (any pad will do)
• Money or cards you want to hide
• Velcro (optional)
• Super glue (I used hypo cement. E6000 works well too but you have to wait a day for it to dry)

Step 1: Unwrap your pad, but keep the wrapper intact if you want to hide the finished pad in its wrapper. No one is going to steal a pad out of your purse, right? It will look more authentic in its original wrapper, but it’s optional.

Step 3: Decide which way you want to fold your pad. You can fold it sideways or straight up and down. I chose sideways so I could widen it a tad at the top to make room for credit cards.

Step 4: Glue the bottom of the pad together, leaving the top open so you can slide money in and out. You can optionally use velcro so you can just rip that sucker open and closed. Just glue the velcro along the sides you want sealed.

Step 5: Slip your pad back into its wrapper.

Other ways to recycle your pads:

• Add them as shoe inserts to cushion tired feet (especially with flats or shoes with very tiny soles)
• Use them to clean. They’re super absorbant, working for LBL, so why not turn them to mop up messes in a jiffy? You can also stick one to the bottom of your shoes or slipper and slide around on the floor to mop it.
• Make a pair of slippers out of them as a gag gift.
