DIY Emi-Jay Hair Ties

Emi-Jay

While perusing Anthro’s site (which I spend entirely too much time doing btw), I saw these elastic hair ties, which reminded me of the Emi-Jay ones that are so popular. Well emi jay knockoffs are super easy and you can make your own emi jay hair ties in every color to match your wardrobe for way cheaper! So I got some supplies and put them together while laying sick in bed and watching TV. I love these spring colors and I went ahead and bought more, including neons so I can have colors to match every outfit. They are also for sale in my Etsy shop if you just wanna buy some! 🙂

  10. It’s crazy what they want for a piece of tied elastic isn’t it?! I have been making these since I first started seeing them in the stores. I love that I can make a huge array of colors for myself & for my daughters – all at different sizes based on the thickness of our hair- all for pennies. So nice to not have to shell out a ton for something so simple. 🙂 Love finding a like minded blogger-

    Have a great weekend.
