So many people think of getting a dog and absolutely love the idea. Another cost that you need to think about is the cost of grooming, buying new toys, and training classes etc. Dogs are usually more expensive in the beginning due to the various different things you’ll have to buy, but the costs do continue throughout ownership of a dog, and they definitely don’t dip much over the years. If you have a dog that can be a bit of a nightmare in the home, you’re going to have to consider the cost of repairs. A lot of dogs are able to tear carpets up, chew through sofas, and rip curtains from the rails whilst you’re out, purely because they’re anxious.
