Big Crochet Bow Hair Clip Pattern
Materials:
ww yarn
I hook
fabric stiffener (optional)
glue
yarn needle
hair clip
dc in 3rd ch and across 21 dc. Repeat for 4 rows (or as big/long as you want your bow to be)
Attach needle to end of yarn and fold the swatch in half so you know where the middle of your bow will be.
Unfold bow, keeping track of the center. Crease the center into a bow shape.
Wrap yarn around center of bow to hold center in place. Weave in loose end or add a dab of glue in the back.
Add hair clip and a dab of glue. I placed mine onto a cardboard piece until the glue dried, so the insides of the clip didn’t stick together. I used super glue, but any industrial glue or hot glue should work.
Optional step: Add fabric stiffener to your hair bow so that it maintains the bow shape. You can also block your crochet swatch before wrapping it with yarn.
Wear as you please! Don’t mind my hair, I was in bed sick when I made this! 🙂
PS – I party here!
This is adorable! And I think I will be able to make it, even at my level of crocheting ability =)
