Basketweave Throw [Ravel-It!]

I have been sick with a nasty nasty cold, so I decided to do some major stashbusting. I had 6 skeins of homespun yarn, so I decided to make a throw. With these colors, it would be a perfect baby boy blanket… so soft too! Learn how to turn your crochet talent into a business!

Materials
6 skeins homespun yarn
K Hook
yarn needle

Special Stitches
FPDC
BPDC

Gauge
4 DC = 1 inch and 1 row = 1 inch

ch 138
R1: DC into 3rd ch from hook and DC in each ch across.
R2: Turn. Ch 2. Do 1 FPDC 4 BPDC, 4 FBDC Repeat from across to the last 2 stitches, then do 1 FPDC and 1 DC.
R3: Turn. Ch 2. Do 1 BPDC
4 FPDC, 4 BPDC* Repeat from * across to the last 2 stitches, then do 1 BPDC and 1 DC.

Repeat row 3, then repeat row 2. (respectively)

Continue until desired length.
