Basketweave Throw [Ravel-It!]

I have been sick with a nasty nasty cold, so I decided to do some major stashbusting. I had 6 skeins of homespun yarn, so I decided to make a throw. With these colors, it would be a perfect baby boy blanket… so soft too! Learn how to turn your crochet talent into a business!

6 skeins homespun yarn
K Hook
yarn needle

Special Stitches

4 DC = 1 inch and 1 row = 1 inch

ch 138
R1: DC into 3rd ch from hook and DC in each ch across.
R2: Turn. Ch 2. Do 1 FPDC 4 BPDC, 4 FBDC Repeat from across to the last 2 stitches, then do 1 FPDC and 1 DC.
R3: Turn. Ch 2. Do 1 BPDC
4 FPDC, 4 BPDC* Repeat from * across to the last 2 stitches, then do 1 BPDC and 1 DC.

Repeat row 3, then repeat row 2. (respectively)

Continue until desired length.

    I tried this and found all the front posts were in the same row going up as well as the backposts. What am I dong wrong?

    I saw the tutorial links for the front post double crochet (FPDC) and back post double crochet (BPDC) were changed, so I went ahead and updated them. If you are still having trouble with the stitches, please do not hesitate to let me know!
