Back-To-School Shopping Doesn’t Need to Break the Bank

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bealls for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Most kids feel the need to completely re-vamp their wardrobes for the new school year, saying something along the lines of, “Mom, I can’t be seen in that AGAIN! That was sooo last year!”

  1. Well, one way to save money is to point out how vintage and thrift is “in”. Not everyone has that flair for finding treasures among the “trash”. Give your teens a goal to prove just how savvy they are at finding good gems.
  2. Online shopping and comparisons is another way to get some good bargains, without dragging the kids out shopping. Compare prices and find online coupons or free shipping offers to save money. If you are a member of a rewards program, check and see if you get any rewards for purchasing through their referral links.
  3. Sign up for e-flyers from your favorite retailers, such as Bealls, Old Navy and other discount stores. This will keep you updated on any special sales or coupons for particular stores and brands your children require. Bealls is also a great source for student uniforms, if your student requires one.
  4. Don’t forget to check out clearance sections and outlets for additional bargains. Just make sure to check for stains, snags or rips in the clothing.
