6 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Buy for Your Dog

Anybody with a dog will know that you need dog food to keep them alive. You need a bed for them to sleep on. You’ll need a lead to walk them. However, there are a few things you probably didn’t realise you could buy for your dog at all. Here are 6 things you didn’t know you could buy for your dog:

Paw Cream

Have you ever looked at your dog’s paws and thought they looked a little dry and cracked? I think we all have, but many people don’t know that there’s actually something you can do about it. Paw cream can help to soothe dry, cracked paws and make them much more comfortable for your dog to walk on. At the very least, it’ll improve the look of them so they don’t bother you so much! Your dog will look their best with just a few consistent applications of paw cream.

A First Aid Kit

Sometimes, dogs hurt themselves. Although it might not require a trip to the vet, that doesn’t mean it couldn’t do with some TLC. A dog first aid kit comes with antiseptic, bandages, and other suitable dog health products that will help to make your dog heal much faster.

Tea

Wait…dogs drink tea too?! Of course they do! My grandad always used to save his dog half a cup of his tea, but now you can buy tea especially made for dogs. It contains suitable ingredients that can help them sleep better, and just improve their overall health in general. You do need to make sure that the tea you give them is specially formulated for them, as some ingredients cannot be digested by dogs very well. You could probably join them in a nice cup of tea, but there’s will taste a little meatier than yours!

Nose Moisturiser

Some dogs get a cracked, dry nose. There’s nothing wrong with them, it’s just one of those things. Some people think that a dry nose is a sign of illness, and while this can be true, it isn’t always. All you need to do is apply a nose moisturiser to your dog regularly, and their nose will soften. It probably doesn’t bother them all that much, but they’ll look their best again.

Ice Cream

Dogs need treats too, don’t they? Enter, special dog ice cream! Ice cream for dogs is formulated specially for them, so it’s a healthy treat when in comparison to human ice cream. It contains ingredients that help to support their immune systems, and doesn’t contain nearly as many calories (dogs can put on weight really quickly). All you need to do is mix a few scoops of this with hot water and then freeze. Simple!

Cake

Finally, dog cake! If it’s your dog’s birthday, or you just want them in on some birthday celebrations, purchase some cake mix. Whip up some cake for them and they can get involved too.
