- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 rib of celery, chopped small
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 15-ounce cans black beans, drained OR 2 cups dry beans, previously cooked
- 1 15-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 7 ounce can diced green chiles, undrained
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 2-3 cups chicken broth or water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
